I thoroughly enjoyed good sized and brand-new rooms with the bathroom and ac unit, for instance, and superbly friendly staff. The location was very central, excellent right on the beach.
Well, the views were very very bad here.

It made my trip to Penticton a really great experience. Loved spending my time in this fairly clean low cost hotel. The staff was welcoming from my arrival up until I left. Remote location was a plus. I often went to Tim Hortons to pick up some food. The pleasant onsite restaurant had plenty of food.

The incredibly helpful and very friendly staff here made our stay extremely enjoyable; we booked a standard room and were able to utilize the provided wake-up service.

They had a promotion the week we were in Penticton, so the costs for staying at the Sandman were very good.
One of the staff members was not very friendly and made us feel as if we were not welcome.

, the lobby was nice,it was central.
This hotel really needs updating... The room was so small a queen bed barely fit, the bathroom was so small the two of us had a hard time getting around, the air condtioner was so loud we could not hear the old tv...there was no mini fridge to keep any beveriges in...problems with electricl as we experienced many power suger where the light would go very bright and then go dim... We were quoted a Rate of $407.00 for 3 night,s stay + taxes ...we were only able to stay 2 night,s due to family matters..we were chargered $159.00 + taxes for each night...???

The location was excellent. The service of your staff was also excellent.
Unfortunately, this is the worst Sandman hotel I have ever stayed at. The hotel needs a major upgrade, including all the carpets and TVs in the rooms. Not only was the TV not a flat screen, there were no movie channels or pay per view available. The bathroom was very small and while I wouldn't expect a structural upgrade, it could certainly be modernized. It's 2012 and the Sandman needs to put some money into this particular location.
